Lake States Railway Historical Association has been given the go ahead from the Baraboo City Council to purchase a parcel of land from the city along the former C&NW railway corridor to build a library and historical research archive. The offering price of $20,000 was accepted by the city. LSRHA intends to erect a 5,000-square-foot building to house its office, research library and archive. The archive will house 2- and 3-dimensional documents relating to railroad history of the Upper Mid-West.
